Information for this report is derived from six MLSs* around the state to give us a representation of the housing market year-over-year for various statistics, including pending sales, median sales price, days on the market until closing, and more. While these statistics do not cover every single property in the state, we have a large enough reach through the MLS's to be confident that these reports contain a representative sample of the Georgia housing market's big picture, and are a reliable source of trends.

However, starting in 2019, our monthly housing indicators will contain data from all 13 MLSs in Georgia, which will give us a picture of the market that is more than 95 percent accurate. The first report with the upgraded data will be available on or before February 20, 2019.
