Who We Are
The Georgia Association of REALTORS® (GAR) – dba Georgia REALTORS® – is a voluntary professional association comprised of approximately 47,000 licensed real estate brokers and salespersons engaged in all aspects of the real estate business throughout the state.
Georgia REALTORS® is the leading advocate for the real estate industry in Georgia, committed to protecting private property rights and free enterprise, maintaining ethical and ethical and professional standards, and enhancing the public’s awareness and confidence in REALTORS®.
Chartered in 1920 by the National Association of REALTORS®, GAR oversees 50 local boards and councils throughout the state. We strive each day to live up to our mission statement: “Empowering our members for success and enhancing the quality of life in our communities.”
