Nakia is the 2025 Vice President of Governmental Affairs for the Georgia REALTORS® and a member of the Northeast Atlanta Metro Association of REALTORS® (NAMAR), where he served as President in 2023. He was the 2024 Region 2 Director for Georgia REALTORS® and has been a member of multiple local associations for years, where he served on numerous committees and received Volunteer of the Year from I-85 North Board of REALTORS®.

Nakia has received numerous accolades, including NAMAR REALTOR® of the Year (2021), Georgia REALTORS® REALTOR® of the Year (2022), the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) C2EX Ambassador of the Year (2023), and NAMAR – Captain of the Industry Award (2024).

A real estate instructor since 2010, Nakia has taught thousands of students and believes education is the true key to success in real estate. He holds approximately 10 real estate designations.

Nakia has served on NAR committees and was an NAR National Director (2022-2024). He graduated from the Georgia REALTOR® Leadership Academy (2019) and is in the NAR National Academy (2025).

Nakia is a Golden “R” investor in the REALTOR® Party (RPAC) and a member of NAR’s President’s Circle.
