Cole Neely

Public Relations Strategist

Cole Neely is a public relations strategist with a strong background in media relations and storytelling. In his role with Georgia REALTORS®, Cole collaborates with reporters to highlight the association’s impact across the state, including community initiatives, leadership announcements, and key events. He brings a strategic approach to elevating GAR’s visibility and ensuring its message reaches a broad audience.

Cole began his career at Cookerly PR, where he started as an intern and advanced to media relations specialist. During his time there, he worked with a diverse range of clients, including agricultural technology companies, retail properties, a new urbanist community, nonprofit organizations, a cancer treatment hospital and financial services firms. He also supported crisis communications efforts as needed, gaining valuable experience in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.

He earned his degree in communications from Furman University, where he was also a member of the football team and a multiyear starter before an injury shifted his path. Today, he remains connected to the program by returning to campus as a commentator for Furman football broadcasts. Outside of work, Cole enjoys spending time at the gym, watching movies and being with his fiancée and dog.
