GAR Launches Donation Drive to Support Breast Cancer Patients Across Georgia
GAR is collecting books, beanies, and blankets for breast cancer treatment centers throughout Georgia with their “3B’s to Kick C” initiative this Fall.
Members can support the drive in two ways. Donations may be brought to the Annual Conference & Expo this September and placed in the designated collection bin. Members may also shop GAR’s Amazon wish list and have items shipped directly to GAR headquarters.
New and gently used books are welcome. To help protect patients from infection, all donated beanies and blankets must be new with tags.
Conference attendees who make a donation—or provide proof of an Amazon wish-list purchase—may receive a commemorative “Stars, Stripes & Service” shirt while supplies last.
Items will be collected at GAR through October 9. GAR will deliver the collected items to selected breast cancer treatment centers within Georgia in mid-October, which will coincide with GAR’s “Pink Out” day on Tuesday, October 13, where REALTORS® throughout Georgia will wear pink for breast cancer awareness.
