    Becoming a Member

As a member of the Georgia YPN, you are invited to exclusive events throughout the year. Membership is FREE and easy. Click here to be added to our mailing list so that you don’t miss the news regarding our events and activities throughout the year.

    Benefits of Membership

    1. Exclusive invitations to YPN events.
    2. Stay abreast of industry happenings. Through the blog on the YPN national site members stay in the loop on hot issues. YPN also has special educational sessions at REALTOR® conferences that address strategies for success in real estate. The Georgia chapter has a private Facebook group.
    3. Have your own sounding board. Young professionals have unique challenges in real estate. By belonging to a network of peers who face similar issues, members can bounce ideas off one another and provide support to each other.
    4. Get involved. Many people who are new to the industry want to get involved with their local, state or national association but either don’t know how to go about it or they find it too intimidating. YPN encourages members to explore leadership opportunities at all levels.
    About YPN

REALTOR® Magazine launched the Young Professional Network in 2006. YPN is a member-driven organization that helps young real estate professionals excel in their careers by giving them the tools and encouragement to become involved in four core areas:

    1. REALTOR® associations. Attend REALTOR® conferences and pursue leadership roles with their local, state, and national associations.
    2. Real estate industry. Take an active role in policy discussions and advocacy issues; be informed about the latest industry news and trends.
    3. Peers. Network and learn from one another by attending events, participating in online communication, and seeking out mentoring opportunities.
    4. Community. Become exceptional members of their community by setting a high level of REALTOR® professionalism and volunteering for causes they feel passionate about.

Whether you’re new to real estate or not, Georgia’s Young Professional Network (YPN) is a way to connect with other young professionals and learn about events and resources that can boost your career.

Georgia’s (YPN) chapter was colonized in October 2009 and seeks to energize and nurture the future of the real estate industry in Georgia by:

    1. Encouraging a new generation of leaders by identifying young REALTORS® who wish to become involved with the Association at a younger age and to stay active throughout their real estate careers.
    2. Increasing the professionalism of REALTORS® through proper continuing education from the beginning of their real estate career.
    3. Staying on the cutting edge of technology through continuing education courses, seminars, and guest speakers.
    4. Helping to develop and maintain a sense of community and camaraderie for young REALTORS® throughout Georgia.
