Scholarships
The Georgia REALTORS® are proud to offer three types of scholarships and a grant:
The Professional Education Scholarship Reimbursement
This scholarship assists persons in the real estate field who are seeking to obtain a related designation or certification such as the GRI (Graduate, REALTOR® Institute), CPM (Certified Property Manager), CRS (Certified Residential Specialist), CRB (Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager) and the many other designations in real estate related fields.
GAR is pleased to offer two scholarship reimbursements within a calendar year to qualified licensees for designation or certification courses required towards obtaining an approved designation or certification.
The Academic Excellence Scholarship
This scholarship is an undergraduate college scholarship for students majoring in a real estate or related degree. New scholarship recipients will be selected for each school year. Once awarded, the recipient can apply to renew the scholarship up to three times for a maximum of four scholarships.
Technical College Scholarship
The purpose of the Technical College Scholarship is to provide financial assistance to students enrolled in Georgia technical college programs that develop skills essential to the real estate, property management, land development, and building trades industries, in furtherance of the Foundation’s charitable and educational mission.
GAR Scholarship Foundation Grant
Grants awarded by the Foundation are discretionary financial awards made to eligible organizations for educational purposes consistent with the Foundation’s charitable mission. Grants are intended to support programs and activities that advance education related to real estate, property management, land use, housing, or allied fields consistent with the purposes of the Foundation.
Grants awarded under this section shall not be treated as scholarships or financial assistance to individuals.

How can you help to raise the bar in real estate? By making a donation to the GAR Scholarship Foundation. All donations are tax deductible. Additionally, you may choose to honor a loved one, or donate in memory of someone special.
