Susan Kliesen of Grayson Named 2025 Georgia REALTOR® of the Year
Georgia REALTORS® (GAR), the largest and leading professional association for real estate agents in the state, recently announced Susan Kliesen as its 2025 REALTOR® of the Year (ROTY). The announcement was made on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, during the Georgia REALTORS® Annual Conference & Expo in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Susan was one of 36 REALTORS® nominated from across Georgia to receive this year’s ROTY award, and was representing the Northeast Metro Association of REALTORS® (NAMAR), which is one of GAR’s 50 local associations throughout the state.
“I am deeply humbled and honored to be named the 2025 Georgia REALTOR® of the
Year,” said Susan. “This recognition belongs not just to me, but to everyone who has
supported my journey over the past 27 years. I am grateful to my broker, Patrick Finnick, who has shown me what ethical leadership looks like and to every leader at NAMAR and GAR for giving me opportunities to serve and grow.”
Susan’s involvement with the REALTOR® associations spans multiple levels. She has served as president of the North Atlanta Metro Association of REALTORS® (NAMAR) and has been named their REALTOR® of the Year three times, and received the Good Neighbor Award for her service in the local community. She holds multiple real estate designations, including the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), the Seller Representative Specialist (SRS), the Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR). Additionally, she holds the At Home with Diversity certification and is a graduate of the GAR Leadership Academy. Susan has served as chair for the REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC) at NAMAR for five years and chaired GAR’s RPAC Fundraising Council in 2024, demonstrating her commitment to political advocacy for the industry.
“Susan Kliesen exemplifies the very best of what it means to be a REALTOR®,” said Stephen P. Walker, 2025 GAR President. “Her unwavering commitment to ethical standards and political advocacy, her passion for education and mentorship, and her dedication to serving others make her a truly deserving recipient of this prestigious honor.”
Susan has dedicated 27 years to the real estate industry, working with the same broker throughout her entire career – a testament to her loyalty and commitment to ethical business practices. As an Associate Broker with RE/MAX Center, she consistently ranks as a top producer, averaging 55-90 transactions annually for the past decade, and currently holds the #1 individual agent position at her office and #7 among all RE/MAX agents in Georgia.
Susan explained, “Whether it’s helping clients buy and sell homes, teaching fellow agents, or mentoring young people, it all comes back to serving others and lifting them up.”
In addition to her REALTOR® association involvement, Susan’s community involvement centers around her faith and commitment to youth development. She chairs the Mission Fundraising Committee at Grayson United Methodist Church, leads Bible study groups, and serves as a church trustee. For years, she has mentored high school girls through small group leadership, guiding them from middle school through graduation and beyond.
The Georgia REALTORS® (also referred to as “Georgia Association of REALTORS®”) is a voluntary professional association of approximately 49,000 licensed real estate brokers and salespersons engaged in all aspects of the real estate business throughout Georgia.
