Atlanta REALTOR® Named Fair Housing Champion

Atlanta REALTOR® Ennis Antoine was honored as one of three Fair Housing Champions by NAR and realtor.com on Thursday, April 10, 2025, during NAR’s Fair Housing Month event, “Fair Housing Forward.” Honorees received recognition for their efforts to advance fair housing and expand homeownership in their communities.

With the Fair Housing Champion Award, Realtors® are recognized for going above and beyond to support buyers and communities, advocating for accessible and affordable housing opportunities, and promoting consumer and Realtor® fair housing education. Sponsored by Realtor.com®, the award provides a $5,000 prize that winners can dedicate to a housing-related nonprofit organization of their choice.

“Ensuring that every individual has a fair opportunity to achieve homeownership is fundamental to our mission,” said NAR President Kevin Sears. “These remarkable Realtors® have demonstrated an unwavering commitment to breaking down barriers and fostering stronger communities. Their efforts serve as a model for our industry and a beacon of hope for those striving to achieve the American Dream.”

As a past president of the Atlanta Realtors® Association, Ennis has dedicated his career to fair housing and expanding homeownership opportunities. He serves as a bridge between the real estate industry and the community, volunteering over 150 hours annually to home construction efforts and homebuyer education. His collaboration with the city of Atlanta ensures that the Realtor® voice is included in strategic planning to increase housing supply and remove barriers to homeownership. Antoine also champions fair housing education for Realtors® at the state and local levels, helping to reduce discrimination and increase equitable access to housing opportunities.

“Fair housing is more than a policy – it’s a promise,” Ennis said. “A promise to build communities where opportunity has no barriers, where dreams have no limits, and where every person has a place to call home. When we champion fairness, we don’t just change lives – we change the future.”
