Denise Lo is the Regional Director for GAR’s Region 8, representing the East Metro Board, DeKalb Association, and Northeast Atlanta Metro Association of REALTORS®.
Denise is the broker principal at Landmark Commercial & Residential Properties, specializing in both commercial and residential new construction, resale, office, retail, and industrial leasing, as well as 1031 exchanges and distressed asset transactions. With over 24 years of experience, she has helped hundreds of families and business owners successfully buy, sell, and lease their properties. She is a proud member of the National Association of REALTORS®, Georgia Association of REALTORS®, and DeKalb Association of REALTORS®. She has earned the Lifetime Silver Phoenix Award Level of recognition for her exceptional performance in the DeKalb Association of REALTORS® Pinnacle Awards Top Producer Club.
In 2018, Denise served as president of the DeKalb Association of REALTORS® (DAR), where she made significant contributions to the organization by establishing the Commercial Council and Past President Advisory Group. As the first Asian American President since DAR was founded in 1957, Denise has been an influential leader, also serving in numerous officer roles, including 2017 president-elect, vice president of finance, chair of the Investment Committee, By-Laws and Policy Committee, chair of the Commercial Council, Strategic Planning Committee, and Sponsorship Committee.
Denise’s commitment to excellence and dedication to her profession are reflected in her various certifications and designations, including the prestigious CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member), CIPS (Certified International Property Specialist), CRS (Certified Residential Specialist), ABR (Accredited Buyer’s Representative), and BPOR (Broker Price Opinion Resource) from the NAR. She is a recipient of the 2018 National Commercial Award and the 2021 ABR Hall of Fame. She is also a Platinum Level Major Investor in REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC), a member of the NAR President Circle, and was inducted into the RPAC Hall of Fame in 2022 and 2025.
Denise is passionate about advocating for private property rights and homeownership. She has been recognized for her efforts with the 2021 REALTOR® of the Year Award by DAR and the President’s Award from Georgia REALTORS®.
Currently, she serves as chair of the Commercial Real Estate Research Advisory Board, C5+CCIM Ambassador for NAR, and a member-at-large of both the International Activities and Networking Committees of the CCIM Institute. She also serves on several task forces and committees, including the FPC Alternate for Congresswoman Lucy McBath, the Executive Committee, the REALTORS® Issues Action Committee Trustee, the Member of Professional Development Committee, the Member of Georgia Economic Development Advisory Council, Commercial Task Force, Commercial Committee Chair, and Forms Committee for Georgia REALTORS® (GAR). She serves on the board of directors for Georgia Multiple Listing Service (GAMLS) and as Secretary/VP of the Hong Kong US Business Association of Atlanta.
Denise is a firm believer in giving back to the community and has been actively involved in various non-profit and volunteer organizations, such as Habitat for Humanity, Chinese Lion Club, and Atlanta Food Bank. She also donated 1,000 KN-95 Masks to the Chamblee and Doraville Police Departments in Georgia during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. She volunteered to produce several YouTube podcasts in Chinese to help minority non-english speaking business owners and lessees apply for EIDL and PPP loans.
When not working, Denise enjoys listening to classical music, watching movies, hiking/jogging, swimming/diving (PADI certified diver), casual/fine dining (self-proclaimed foodie), and traveling. Together with her husband, she sponsors various non-profit and faith-based organizations in Asia and the United States, donating money to build schools and organizing clothes or food drives to help others.
