Kathy Haddock is the Region 8 Regional Director for the Georgia REALTORS® representing the East Metro Board, DeKalb Association of REALTORS®, and Northeast Atlanta Metro Association of REALTORS®. She is a primary member of the Northeast Atlanta Metro Association of REALTORS®. She is the Broker Owner of 1st Eagle Realty.

Kathy became a REALTOR® in 2001 and immediately got involved in her local board.  She has served on and chaired numerous committees, ultimately serving as president. At that same time, she joined the Women’s Council of REALTORS® (WCR) Gwinnett with the same desire to serve wherever needed. Kathy became local WCR president and then moved up to the chaired positions at the state level to become president of WCR Georgia.

At GAR, Kathy has served on many committees and has been chair of Legal Action, State and Local Government Affairs, and RIAC committees.  She has also served as an Alternate Federal Political Coordinator and RPAC Trustee.

In addition, Kathy has served on Professional Standards and Fair Housing Committees at NAR. She is a major investor in RPAC and has reached the criteria for the RPAC Hall of Fame.

Being involved in the political work that began with GAR has led to what can only be described as a “political junkie” who continues to stay up to date on current affairs affecting private property rights and changes that can affect the real estate industry.

In 2018, Kathy and her business partner formed their brokerage, 1st Eagle Realty. When she is not working, she loves baking, entertaining friends and family, music, and loves to travel with friends and family.  If a GAR or NAR Conference is going on, you’ll most likely see her there.
