Lynn Dawson

Director of Finance

Lynn Dawson is the Director of Finance for the Georgia REALTORS®, a position she has held since November 2024. With over 25 years of finance leadership experience in both non-profit and for-profit sectors, Lynn brings vast knowledge and experience to the association.

In her roles, most recently as Senior Finance Director at a major religious organization, she has managed finance teams of varying sizes, led multiple corporations/entities, and worked closely with various committees to support key financial functions, including contributions, accounts payable, payroll, general ledger, monthly reporting, and annual audits. Known for her expertise in implementing system upgrades and automation, Lynn has successfully transitioned multiple CRM databases and established streamlined processes to improve efficiency across departments.

Lynn was born and raised in Clearwater, Florida, and, in 1993 earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida. She moved to Atlanta in 1994 when she married her husband, Matt. They have two daughters, Erin and Megan, who keep her very busy with their school and work activities. Lynn is passionate about travel, reading, and her Dinner Club friends.
