Sarah Tauchert

Sarah Tauchert is the Advocacy Coordinator for the Governmental Affairs department. This role provides administrative and onsite event support at the Healey building. With an advocacy background and a passion for positively impacting society, Sarah is eager to use her expertise to spearhead crucial initiatives, striving to uplift and support the community in every way possible.

Sarah holds a Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences in Human Development and Family Sciences from the University of Georgia. Prior to this role, Sarah served as a FACS legislative aide in the Georgia Senate during the 2023 session, where she worked on influential committees like State and Local Government Oversight and Banking and Financial Institutions. Her experience in legislative affairs has equipped her with valuable skills in driving meaningful change.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Sarah embraces an active lifestyle by attending spin classes regularly. She also finds joy in the company of her two cats, Bananas and Yogi, and cherishes quality moments spent with her family.
