Organizational Grant Application

The Georgia Association of REALTORS® Scholarship Foundation, Inc. (the “Foundation”) awards grants to eligible organizations in furtherance of its charitable and educational mission. Grants are intended to support educational, charitable, and community-based initiatives that provide a clear public benefit and are consistent with applicable federal and Georgia law.

REALTOR® Associations, REALTOR® Boards, or similar professional or trade associations that provide continuing education or other educational programming may be eligible for grant consideration only to the extent that grant funds are used solely for educational purposes consistent with the Foundation’s charitable mission and applicable law. Such grants must be structured in compliance with the Foundation’s grant policies, including appropriate use restrictions, reporting requirements, oversight, and accountability. The Foundation reserves the right to require additional documentation or assurances to confirm that grant funds will be used exclusively for approved educational purposes.

Submission of an application does not guarantee funding. All grant awards are subject to review, approval, and funding availability, and are made at the sole discretion of the Foundation’s Board of Directors, in accordance with the Foundation’s Bylaws and Policies and Procedures Manual.

 

Eligibility

To be eligible for consideration, the applicant organization must:

  1. Be one of the following:
  • A nonprofit organization recognized as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code;
  • A governmental or educational entity eligible to receive charitable grant funds; or
  • A professional or trade association eligible for grant consideration solely with respect to qualifying educational programming, as further described in Section IV below;

2.    Be in good standing with all applicable federal and state regulatory requirements;
3.   Have a mission and activities consistent with the Foundation’s charitable purposes;
4.   Demonstrate the administrative and financial capacity to properly manage, track, and account for grant funds;
5.   Submit a complete application and all required supporting documentation by the stated deadline.

Incomplete or ineligible applications may not be considered.
