Georgia REALTOR® Magazine is Going All-Digital

After careful consideration, Georgia REALTOR® magazine will publish its final print issue in Winter 2025 and transition to an all-digital format in 2026. The Board of Directors approved this change at its September 2025 meeting. Since 2023, the print edition has been opt-in only. Online readership now exceeds print opt-ins, and the rising cost of print—projected to increase again in 2026—makes continued printing unsustainable.

Getting the Most Out of Your Digital Magazine

If you read the digital version of Georgia REALTOR® magazine on a smartphone, iPad, or tablet, there is a way to make the content more reader-friendly than the default page view setting. Currently, when you open the magazine online, it looks a lot like the printed version. You are presented with a cover, and you can flip through the pages just as you would with a printed copy.

However, when you open the link to the magazine, in the top right corner, you’ll see an option that says “Contents” with a grid small squares above it – click on this icon.

This will take you to a version of the online magazine that is much more user-friendly for viewing on smartphones, iPads, and tablets.

All feature articles and departments can be found on this screen in blocks, giving you a view of all of the content contained in the issue, making it easy to navigate directly to the content that you want to read.

When you click on a single block, you’ll open the article or department in full.

You’ll also have the option to use the menus on the left side of your screen which will allow you to:

• adjust the font size;
• send the article to a friend or colleague;
• visit the page in the Page View version of the magazine
• or print out article for reading

When you exit out of the article via the Contents View link on your upper left, you can also click on Menu on the top left hand corner of the screen and navigate through the table of contents there, which will allow you to access prior issues of the magazine by clicking on “Archive.”

And finally… you can still have a printed copy of Georgia REALTOR® magazine! Here’s how:

• Click on the link to the magazine from the GAR website; If you are already in the magazine and are in the Contents view, go to the Table of Contents menu on the upper left hand side and then select the first option – Page View
• You will be viewing the magazine in the “layout” version.” From there, go over to the top right hand corner and select PDF.
• You’ll then have the option to download and print out the entire magazine or select pages.
