Georgia REALTORS® Celebrates Opening of Advocacy Division’s New Headquarters

ATLANTA, Oct. 16, 2023 – The Georgia REALTORS® (GAR) held an open house and ribbon-cutting ceremony Friday, October 13, to celebrate the opening of its new Advocacy Division headquarters located in the historic Healey Building at 57 Forsyth St. NW in downtown Atlanta.

GAR members, leadership, and staff gathered to commemorate the milestone event and tour the new 7,126-square-foot office space that will serve as the hub for GAR’s legislative and political efforts.

“We are thrilled to open the doors to our new advocacy home,” said 2023 GAR President Lisa Scully. “This office space in the heart of the city will allow our legislative team to be steps away from the state capitol and primely situated to advocate on behalf of Georgia REALTORS® and private property rights.”

The historic, spacious office will house GAR’s governmental affairs and economic policy staff. Large windows flood the space with natural light. Stylish furnishings and an open layout promote networking and engagement. It also includes meeting space for members from around the state to meet with legislators and an area to host advocacy events.

“This space will allow our team to be steps away from the State Capitol and at the heart of state government. We are thrilled to have a dedicated hub for our advocacy work,” said GAR Chief Advocacy Officer Jeff Ledford. “The office provides proximity to lawmakers, policymakers, and many of our partners so we can strengthen relationships and effectively advocate on behalf of GAR’s 50,000 members.”

GAR members are encouraged to stop by the new office space anytime they are visiting the capitol area.
