    • 2024 Proposed Slate of GAR Officers and NAR Directors

    The Georgia REALTORS® Nominating Committee met on Monday, May 15, 2023, to conduct interviews and select the 2024 Slate of Officers that will be voted on by the Board of Directors in September.

    The 2024 GAR Proposed Slate is as follows:

    • Brianne Drake, First Vice President
    • Bikel Frenelle, Vice President of Governmental Affairs
    • Donna Davis, Vice President of Member & Public Services
    • Maura Neill, Vice President of Professional Development
    • Bekki Shae Smith, Region 1 Director
    • Nakia Brooks, Region 2 Director
    • Tracy Dean, Region 6 Director
    • RaShaunda Muldrow, Region 7 Director
    • Monica Spillane Cerrone, Region 9 Director
    • Dorrie Love, NAR Director, 3-year term (2024, 2025, 2026)
    • Maura Neill, NAR Director, 3-year term (2024, 2025, 2026)
    • Ed Patton, 1st Alternate, NAR Director (1-year term – 2024)
    • Linda Carol Porterfield, 2nd Alternate, NAR Director (1-year term – 2024)
    • Bill Rawlings, 3rd Alternate, NAR Director (1-year term – 2024)
    • Denise Lo, 4th Alternate, NAR Director (1-year term – 2024)

    GAR Bylaws, Article 8, Section 2. K. – Names of qualified* candidates in addition to those recommended by the Nominating Committee may be placed in Nominating by giving written notice of intent to be a candidate for a particular office. Said notice must be received in the GAR office no later than 10 days following the May meeting of the Nominating Committee. Such notice must include the name of the nominee they are challenging. (*Qualified candidates shall be applicants who submitted an application by the 11:59 pm on April 15th deadline, completed the Nominating schedule process, and are unslated).

    UPDATE (6/12/23):
    Running from the Floor

    • Michael Blackburn of the Northeast Atlanta Metro Association has declared his intention to run for Vice President of Professional Development
    • Scott Whelchel of the 400 North Board has declared his intention to run for Vice President of Professional Development
    • Regenia Andrews of the Troup County Board has declared her intention to run for Region 6 Regional Director
