REALTORS® Relief Foundation Providing Funds for Georgia Residents who have Suffered Damage from Wildfires
In April 2026, wildfires swept through portions of southern Georgia, igniting a trail of destruction and affecting 91 counties. More than 50,000 acres were burned, taking homes and displacing hundreds of Georgia residents.
Georgia REALTORS® (GAR) is working with the REALTORS® Relief Foundation (RRF), a subsidiary of the National Association of REALTORS®, to provide housing-related relief to individuals and households within the 91* counties in Georgia that were affected by the wildfires.
The application process is now open. Please note that you must be a resident of one of the 91 counties cited by Governor Brian Kemp for public assistance in his disaster declaration letter (see list below).
