GAR Seeking Region 8 Regional Director

Georgia REALTORS® is now accepting applications for the vacant Region 8 Director position. The member selected for this position will be in place until November 17, 2025.

Region 8 encompasses the Northeast Atlanta Metro Association of REALTORS® (NAMAR), DeKalb Association of REALTORS®, and East Metro Board of REALTORS®. If you are a member of one of these boards and would like to apply for the position, please review and complete the following documents (linked documents attached):

Please be sure to hold the following dates as your attendance is required for the following 2025 meetings:

• January 14-16, 2025 – Strategic Planning Retreat (Lake Oconee)
• February 17, 2025 – Executive Committee Meeting (Marriott Marquis, Inaugural & Legislative Conference)
• June 12, 2025 – Executive Committee Meeting (GAR Headquarters)
• September 3, 2025 – Executive Committee Meeting (Westin Charlotte, Annual Conference & Expo – date and time subject to change during the week of Conference)

The Credentials, Campaign & Rules Committee will review all applications to ensure that all qualified candidates are passed on to the Executive Committee for their review and consideration. The Executive Committee will select who will serve out the remaining one-year of the Region 8 Director term.
