Proposed Bylaws Changes to be Considered

Per the Georgia REALTORS® Bylaws, any changes to the Bylaws must be noticed to the Board of Directors at least 30 days prior to the Board of Directors’ Meeting in which the change will be discussed and voted on. This information can also be found on our website. Click here to view.

The first motion comes from the Administration and Operations Committee that met in August 2023 (see highlighted item #3). The Executive Committee also approved the motion at their September 2023 meeting regarding not prorating dues in 2024. Given the need for 30 days notice to change the Bylaws, this was not considered at the September 2023 Board of Directors meeting but will be considered at the February 9, 2024 Board of Directors meeting.

The next three motions come from the Strategic Planning Committee that met in October 2023 (see highlighted items #8, #9, and #10). The Executive Committee met in November 2023. The other items from the Strategic Planning Committee’s October 2023 meeting will also be considered at the February Board of Directors Meeting but are not Bylaws changes that require the advance 30 days notice.
